Standards for evaluating law library directors are difficult to locate. Two goals are integral to the meaningful evaluation of any academic law library director; 1) determining how well the library is operating, and 2) determining how well the director is performing. The author contends that both goals can be met by the Dean of a law school when the evaluation is structured around the mission of the law school.
