Abstract:     
Having defined, on one hand, what the real dangers of derivatives are, and on the other hand, the observed changes from their predecessors , what are the main flaws of the new regulations, and how could they be improved? This paper analyses the risks and potential results of the European and US solutions to the OTC derivatives problem.
