Abstract:     
A noted Bengali sakta (worshipper of power-goddess Kali or Shyama) poet-singer cum composer, Ramprasad Sen’s songs are analyzed here from many standpoints (anekantavada): (a) possible version of his constructed autobiography; (b) Vaidantic philosopher’s views; (c) Marxist perspectives; (d) Structuralist standpoints; (e) Feminist interpretations ; (f) Post-structuralist non-analysis. All these interpretations/interruptions into the Ramprasad’s texts did not seek coherence, but celebrated the pleasures of reading/hearing texts.
