El Derecho al Nombre de las Confesiones Religiosas (The Right to Religious Confession Name)

Abstract:     
The research analyzes how the religious confessions’ name is protected around the world and what is the extent of this protection. The first part (chapter II) of this research provides a systematic approach of the various forms of protection of the distinctive signs, analyzing in each case the safeguard of the confessions right to a religious name. Then (chapter III) we assess which problems were in brand name systems, continental and non continental, to continue (chapter IV) doing a brief commentary about the legal status of the “Catholic” name and its implications for national and international law. At the end (chapter V) we conclude which was and supposed to be the religious confessions’ right to have a proper name.
