Abstract

Quality education and learning throughout life have become apparent as the keys to the 21st Century. The mission of guaranteeing quality of education is to safeguard the public interest in sound standards and to encourage its continuous improvement. The search volume for higher education worldwide has been steadily declining from 2004 to the present day volumes. At present the volume is between 25-30% of the volumes in the beginning of 2004.

The purpose of this research is to identify the important factors affecting the management of Higher Education. A sample size of 100 faculty from different management institutes in Nagpur City in India have been selected for this research. For analysing data, factor analysis technique has been used. Altogether, six important factors have thus been identified. The first factor is “Job Oriented Syllabus & Industry exposure” as job oriented syllabus, industry training is loaded highly on it. The second factor is “Creativity and innovation”, the third factor is “Accreditation & Evaluation system”, the fourth factor is “Public-Private Partnerships”, fifth factor is “Competent Faculty”, and sixth factor is “Ethics & Character Building”.
