Abstract

The administration of a social development enterprise is a challenge to the management capacity. The case of Catholic religious organizations: In previous work we proposed the concept of the social development enterprise (SDE) and a practical proposal in the case of the provision of public services. In this paper we want to show how this concept includes the administration of religious goods. The administration of religious goods has the same characteristics as a social development enterprise as well as conditions particular to these organizations. It is ultimately more restrictive. It is as such a typology of self management, part of which we characterize as the management of the social development organization (or business) and with restrictions that make it particular.
