Abstract

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators is fortunate to have nearly a century’s worth of articles collected in the volumes of its journal: Arbitration. With the recent publication of these articles online, legal academics and ADR practitioners now have access to a more efficient means of exploring this valuable resource than ever before. This ease of access, however, also presents a challenge — how to discern which of these articles (currently more than 4,000) are the most relevant, interesting, and influential. By collecting some of the journal’s most relevant articles — written by some of its most illustrious authors — in the subjects of ADR, arbitration, and mediation, this book will provide the ADR community with a single reference work containing the “best of the best” that Arbitration has to offer.
