Is It Unethical to Evade the Capital Gains Tax?
Robert W. McGee Florida International University - School of Accounting Journal of Accounting, Ethics and Public Policy, Vol. 2, No. 3, pp. 567-581, Summer 1999 Abstract: The accounting and philosophical literature on tax evasion has been scant, at least until recently. The few articles that have discussed the ethics of tax evasion have usually taken either a generalist approach or have focused their attention on the ethics of evading income taxes. This article is the first to address the issue of whether it is unethical to evade the capital gains tax.
