Abstract
Article 19 of the Rome Statue provides the mechanics for jurisdictional and/or admissibility challenges of cases by suspects, accused and States before the International Criminal Court as well as related procedures. This chapter is a comprehensive revision (by Daniel D. Ntanda Nsereko and Manuel J. Ventura) of the commentary on Article 19 in the 2nd Edition by the late Christopher K. Hall published in June 2008.
