Abstract
In this tribute to the Right Honourable Sir Ian Mckay (1929-2014), a highly respected Court of Appeal judge from 1991-1997, Sir Ivor Richardson reflects on Sir Ian Mckay’s long and varied career in both the public and private sectors. Sir Ian Mckay made a major and distinctive contribution to the Court of Appeal. He is also remembered for his involvement in a range of government law reform bodies, government agencies, and other associations, as well as for his time on the Samoan Court of Appeal.
