Abstract
French Abstract: Le continent africain est souvent mal situé dans les débats internationaux portant sur la protection de l'environnement et le développement durable. Or une revue des constitutions de plusieurs pays africains démontre un intérêt marqué pour cet enjeu en dépit du caractère rudimentaire des instruments de mise oeuvre du droit de la personne à l'environnement et au développement durable.
English Abstract: Africa is generally not well situated in global debates over environment protection and sustainable development. However, a look at the constitutions of African countries reveal a growing interest for this issue despite a weak institutional design to implement the human right to environment and sustainable development.
