Abstract

For only truth could unleash the light of healing, of justice, of redress of a wrong. To smother the cry of the victims of human rights abuses and their heirs at this point of humanity's history is to encourage further the perpetration of ruthlessness and grievous injustice. This, as the failure of governments to muster enough political will to fully unearth, to completely expose to the peoples the full extent and total picture of the barbarity of the perpetrators of this dark injustice would only provide the latter with despicable impunity.
