Abstract

The study presents the results of empirical testing of impact of demographic factors on investment avenues selected by investors in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, India. It is found that gender, age and friends are mostly influencing the investment decisions of the respondents. It is concluded that the respondents of the study are conservative in nature and show less concern for money multiplication and liquidity.
