Abstract
In her article, the author showed the impact of cultural determinants on age management at enterprises in the selected European countries. To consider the relationships between the national culture and age management at enterprises the author proposed a system approach, with the use of the dimensional model. It allows reducing the abstract and blurred notion of culture to the cultural dimensions, hence the elements meeting at least some conditions enabling their empirical verification. The said relationships are presented in the macro scale, presenting the impact of the national culture on the approach to age management and employment of elderly people in individual countries as well as in the micro scale, describing the impact of culture on such important areas of age management at enterprises as recruitment and selection of employees, planning and development of their career as well as professional promotion, training designing, employees motivating or pay policy.
