Vampire Imagery in American CaselawSharon SutherlandUniversity of British Columbia Faculty of Law 2003 Abstract: This paper examines the use of metaphoric representations of vampires in judicial writing. Although relatively unexplored in the literature of vampire studies, in both of these cases vampire imagery reflects the cultural milieu of the author and acts as a barometer to popular attitudes.
