Abstract:
This paper provides a brief history of the reports of decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States as those decisions appear in United States Reports. In addition to describing the evolution of the office of Reporter of Decisions, the article provides a thumbnail sketch of the individuals who have served in that capacity, preserving for posterity the opinions of the Nation's Court.
