IU Law-Bloomington Research Paper No. 28

Abstract:
The Rehnquist Legacy is a legal biography of the Chief Justice in which, in chapters covering eighteen different areas of constitutional law, experts in these areas assess the impact of Rehnquist's career on the law. The Introduction to this attempts an overall assessment of that legacy. It shows that Rehnquist was, in many ways, as deserving of the appellation activist as the liberals he opposed.
