Abstract:
State immunity for state-run enterprises remains important in the age of globalization. This is indicated by the adoption of the United Nations Convention on Jurisdictional Immunities of States and Their Property on 2 December 2004. In this short article the reader is introduced to the basics of the rules regarding state immunity for state-owned corporations in Europe.
