Abstract:     
The ability to legally grant credit is widely regarded as a fundamental factor in modern gaming operations. This article discusses the regulation introduced in Macau in 2004. The enquiry covers private law aspects (namely: the concept; the legal effects; the collection options) as well as administrative law aspects (namely: who can grant credit; Government regulation and supervision).
