PEER FEEDBACK ASSIGNMENT

One of our course goals is to make the Management Communication's (MC) assessment process student-centered. Therefore, this Peer Feedback Assignment is paired with the “Narrative Presentation” (UVA-BC-0163). You will be assigned to a group of three classmates, forming a “working triad.” On one day you will be a speaker, but on other days you will be a listener, responsible for providing constructive feedback to your other triad members. In turn, when you are a speaker, your fellow triad members will provide feedback to you.

Purpose

This assignment offers you an experiential opportunity to develop the essential managerial skill of giving feedback, both in person and in writing. It will also help you gain experience in receiving feedback, as well as asking for the feedback you want.
