Abstract:
By aligning the educational process in Romania to the norms passed in the Bologna Declaration (1999) and fulfilling the strategic objectives set in Lisbon (2000) it is necessary to create, within the education institutions, our own quality management system. In order to do this, we need to evaluate and analyze the current situation in field of education from the viewpoint of the factors involved in the educational process. This study focuses on the approach of the inputs involved in this process, academic staff and students, correlated with the outputs, school results obtained by students, theirs expectations from the point of view of the quality of higher education and of the chance of finding a job in the future. The analysis is based on the data achieved on a sample of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, Romania.
