Двойные Стандарты в Современной Мировой Политике (Double Standards in the Modern World Politics)

Abstract

Russian Abstract: В статье на примерах событий на постсоветском пространстве рассматриваются двойные стандарты в мировой политике. Приводятся определения этого понятия и его разновидности. Исследуются причины распространения двойных стандартов в мировой политике. Среди них – гегемонистская позиция США и их союзников, «ренессанс» национальных государств на мировой арене, диссонанс между моралью и политикой, а также резкое ускорение мирового развития, за которым международное право не успевает угнаться. Делается вывод о том, что в будущем двойные стандарты будут все чаще использоваться странами мира, поэтому России следует учиться применять их в качестве эффективного инструмента своей внешнеполитической деятельности.

English Abstract: The article deals with the double standards in the world politics based on cases in the Post-Soviet space. Its definitions and varieties are given. The causes of its spread are analyzed. Hegemonic position of the USA and its allies, “renaissance” of national states on the world arena, dissonance between morality and politics, as well as a steep acceleration of the world development with which international law cannot catch up are among them. The conclusion is made that in the future double standards will be used even more often by the countries of the world and thus Russia needs to learn how to use them as an effective instrument of its foreign policy activities.
