Health Care in Dire Straits - The Warfare of Welfare

Abstract

Health systems and Medicine (and, obviously, Veterinary Science) play a central role in our lives, yet they are in dire straits. In my paper, I point to the fact that the level of Medicine is extremely low, and that the standards are very primitive. I also draw the reader’s attention to the critical problem of rising healthcare costs and the fundamental issue of the corrupt practices in the worldwide healthcare systems. I also posit that corruption courts be institutionalized: specialized courts whose sole competence would be to deal with corruption cases in order to make the justice system faster and more effective.
