Abstract

The Multimodal Transportation is a growing field across the globe and is turning the backbone of the Global Supply chain. Many researchers and practitioners have Claimed that researches has been carried in Supply chain has been affected by Silo effect. The research in area of Multimodal Transportation has been claimed in nascent stage and focused on European Union.

Objective: The aim of this work is to fnd the current trend of research and work carried out in multimodal transportation in following context.

- To establish the concept of Multimodal transportation: focused on Indian Context.
