Los Estudios Organizacionales para las Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas – Pymes que ofrecen servicios de alojamiento (Organizational Studies for Small and Medium Enterprises – SMEs That Offer Hospitality Services)

Spanish Abstract: Este trabajo es una reflexión teórica sobre qué son los Estudios Organizacionales, algunas corrientes de los estudios organizacionales desde donde pueden ser abordadas las pymes turísticas del subsector de alojamiento, así como la diferencia entre perspectiva organizacional y perspectiva disciplinar de lo organizacional todo con el fin de sugerir perspectivas, temas y preguntas de investigación. Antes de iniciar el tema central presenta algunos datos sobre el turismo a nivel mundial y nacional así como del subsector de alojamiento en Colombia, Antioquia y Medellín. Luego define pyme y su importancia para la economía colombiana.

English Abstract: This work is a theoretical reflection on what Organizational Studies are, some currents of organizational studies from where tourism SMEs of the housing subsector can be approached, as well as the difference between organizational perspective and disciplinary perspective of the whole organization in order to Suggest perspectives, topics, and research questions. Before starting the central theme, it presents some data on tourism at a global and national level as well as the housing subsector in Colombia, Antioquia, and Medellin. Then define SMEs and their importance for the Colombian economy.
