Abstract
Sparse matrices are those which contain mostly elements with zero values. Solutions for linear equation systems may arise from known examples of sparse matrices such as lower and upper triangular matrices. Since most of the elements of sparse matrices are zero, storage that saves space either in disk or memory is advisable. In this paper, study, analysis and mechanisms for efficient storage by means of 1D array are proposed and provided for one of the sparse matrices called central triangular matrix.
