Abstract

Inferring from our today’s life, with the increase in mobile and cellular network usage, almost all our daily life chores have a digital alternative. This has resulted in ease of living. Not only has our work speed increased but has also resulted in quality outcomes. This is observed in our new bill payment methods. Due to various types of payment gateways, payment of monthly bills has become extremely easy. In spite of this, for gas meters, the gas agency/company still makes use of a middleman to take meter readings. This application proposes a direct connection between the gas company and its customers. The Gas Meter Reading is a mobile application which will recognize the meter readings by image processing technology. It will provide details on the customers regular gas.
