Abstract

In this paper authors propose to provide a suitable model for medical practitioners and Healthcare centres to record patients information in systematic format. The major aim is to provide a facility to doctors to effectively store the patient’s information, that can be used in future and save the time for patient’s analysis. In India there are many challenges that are required to be addressed to gain success to maintain patient’s health information. Acceptance levels need to be improved to eliminate the conventional health record system. EHR systems from various countries are studied for the same and are discussed in short in this technical Paper. In the concluding part authors have proposed two models namely, one for General Practitioners and second for hospitals and Health centres providing service to large population.
