Abstract
By using self similar method, propagation of cylindrical magneto gas dynamic shock waves in existence of magnetic flux under the effect of monochromatic radiation with variable density has been investigated. The equations of motion have been solved by using self similar solutions and numerical solutions are obtained subject to the boundary conditions. It is found that existence of magnetic field and monochromatic radiation decay the shock wave. All the analytical results are represented graphically.
