Will the European Union Survive?

Abstract
Idealistic blindness and political naivety is on the way to deconstruct the European Union.
The uncontrolled migration from the Middle-East and beyond, and Africa, into the EU territory has real- and perceived security implications, is an unforeseen economic burden, and is stretching political cooperation and public opinion to the breaking point.
The EU has let external events take their course. It is forcing to be reactive rather than being able to shape its vision for the future.
The EU must continue to be strong and determined in order to remain prosperous on the basis of the European way of life and European values. The EU must avoid an identity crisis through letting ‘war of civilisations’ sneak-in little-by-little from another dominant culture.
The EU urgently needs to agree on a model that provides a high degree of survival certainty with long-term potential.
