The Big Brother is Watching: Huduma Namba a Threat to our Rights and Freedoms

Abstract

This paper critiques the ruling by the high court allowing the government to proceed with the biometrical registration dubbed as the huduma registration. This registration is a violation of the right to privacy because Kenya currently does not have any legislation on data protection. This paper also argues that a violation of the right to privacy will also violate the right to dignity.
