Estonian Abstract: Käesoleva artikli autor viibis praktikal Euroopa Komisjoni õigusosakonnas 2003. aasta 1. oktoobrist 2004. aasta 29. veebruarini. Artiklis tutvustatakse sel ajal Euroopa Komisjoni õigusosakonnas ette tulnud probleeme, millega praktikant kokku puutus, ning Euroopa Komisjoni õigusosakonna tööd üldiselt. Artiklis käsitletakse komisjonis ja Euroopa Kohtus sel ajal lahendatavates asjades tekkinud probleeme - näiteks küsimus avalik-õigusliku isiku määratlemisest ühenduse õiguses ja aktuaalsed arenguid riigi vastutuse doktriinis.

English Abstract: The author of this article was a Trainee at the Legal Service of the European Commission from 1 October 2003 to 29 February 2004. The article introduces some problems faced by the Legal Service at that time the trainee was engaged with, and the work of the Legal Service generally. The article shows some [that time] recent problems in the European Commission and the European Court of Justice - for example, the question of legal subjectivity of public persons in Community law and actual developments in the doctrine of state responsibility.
