Abstract

Telecom with large customer base offers a remarkable chance to connect poor to financial services. The current study focuses on analyzing the impact of telecom on financial inclusion by moderating the effect of education. Randomized sample of 200 is collected from two villages of Palwal District of Haryana considering household as sampling unit. For analysis, Structural Equation Modelling based software “SmartPLS” has been utilized. There are 45 indicators and 7 constructs. The results indicate that 11 out of 21 paths are significant. In case of direct relation between telecom and financial inclusion, out of 9 paths, 6 are significant. only 2 out of 6 paths are significant when education is considered as moderating variable. Future studies may be based on other states with more constructs.
