Abstract
Entrepreneurship is a creative and innovative ability that is used as a basis, tips, and resources to look for opportunities for success. The essence of entrepreneurship is the ability to create something new and different through creative thinking and innovative action to create opportunities in facing life's challenges. This paper attempts to conduct a case study related to the use of Problem Based Learning learning methods by teachers in entrepreneurship courses to find out entrepreneurial education in schools.
Design/methodology/approach - Using case study methods and literature, the performance of a number of students in entrepreneurial subjects (designed using PBL) monitored and documented.
Findings - This study found that the learning method of problem-based learning by teachers was able to improve the ability of student entrepreneurs. And found that the Problem-based learning method supports an increase in the ability of students.
Research limitations/implications - Further research is needed to better see the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education through project-based learning methods.
Originality/value - Learning practices may not directly have a significant effect on students' entrepreneurial abilities. But this practice can give students awareness and understanding of the problems that occur in the real world related to business.
