The growing implication of science in crime investigation for inquiring, collection, preservation, and analysis of evidence for prosecuting an offender in the court has concreted an easier path for administering justice. The paper reviews the role of physical evidence in investigation process and criminal profiling and offers suggestions as to where we need to focus our efforts.
