Abstract

Chinеse foreign policy shift from the Deng Xiaoping concept "taoguan yanghui" (keeping a low profile) is marked by the active promotion of various concepts and foreign policy initiatives under Xi Jinping from "One Belt, One Road" to the building of a community of common destiny ( minyun guntunti). It would not be an exaggeration to say that it is to a large extent through new political language that China is shaping the world's image of itself and its role in international affairs. It is no coincidence that today, along with the search for new drivers of economic development and increasing efforts to modernize the Army, China pays so much attention to the development of "international discursive power". In a variety of ways - through the publication of "white papers", speeches of leaders at various international forums, foreign policy propaganda, academic and cultural exchanges - China is increasingly trying to convey its vision of global problems and the demand for global governance reform to international audiences. Our analysis of Chinese official statements has revealed that the term "heli" ( rationality) is quite often used, mainly to describe China's approaches to the modern world order and the possibilities for its reform or transformation.
