Spanish Abstract: El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar la situación actual y las perspectivas de los mercados de derivados (regulados y over the counter, OTC) y de las cámaras de contrapartida central (CCP) que sirven de infraestructura de liquidación de esos contratos, en el actual entorno marcado por la crisis financiera internacional.

English Abstract: The aim of this paper is to describe the situation and outlook of derivatives markets (regulated and over the counter, OTC) and the central counterparties (CCP) providing a settlement infrastructure for derivative contracts, in a setting marked by international financial turmoil.
