Evaluation of Ecological Efficiency of Regional Central Cities Under the Perspective of Green Transformation—Taking Dalian City as an Example

Abstract

The regional central city is a core city with leading position within the designated region. It plays an important role in driving the green development of the whole region. Scientifically evaluates the ecological efficiency of regional central cities under the background of green transformation development is important. Based on the background and perspective of national promotion of green transformation, this study combines emergy analysis and data envelopment analysis (DEA) methods to construct the regional central city ecological efficiency evaluation indicator system according to the characteristics of urban complex ecosystem, and takes Dalian as the case city. The results show that: the ecological efficiency of Dalian city in 2011-2017 presents an upward trend, that is, while the economic development, the environmental pressure is decreasing, The research proves that the ecological environment of Dalian city has achieved remarkable results under the background of green transformation, and the research conclusions have important demonstration significance for China's regional central cities to effectively promote green transformation.
