Abstract
In this paper, the writers wish to prose their thoughts on questions surrounding Police Detention and the Judiciary’s responsibility to uphold the rights and freedom of citizen in police custody during this on-going global COVID-19 pandemic. Whilst also examining how national emergencies extend state power and diminish fundamental rights.
