Abstract

At the same time the federal government passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), which includes the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act (EPSLA) and the Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act (EFMLEA), states passed their own paid leave laws, often with wider applicability than the federal law.
