Abstract

This Article supports transgender inclusion in sport and physical activities, including access to locker rooms and team spaces that correspond to their gender identity. The Authors provide an overview of the stigma suffered by transgender individuals, while identifying athletic opportunities for transgender athletes, pertinent case law and rulings, and the psychological, physical, and social outcomes associated with inclusion and exclusion.
