English Abstract: Part of the Federal Council's comprehensive package of measures to combat the The Federal Council's comprehensive package of measures to combat the Corona epidemic and its economic consequences includes an ordinance on unemployment insurance and an ordinance on compensation for loss of earnings. Compensation is provided for those particularly affected (parents due to the school closures and the self-employed due to the closure of their businesses and the event bans) are compensated. The provisions are also analysed in the context of other measures and labour law.

German Abstract: Teil des umfangreichen bundesrätlichen Massnahmepakets zur Bekämpfung der Corona-Epidemie und ihrer wirtschaftlichen Folgen bilden je eine Verordnung zur Arbeitslosenversicherung und zur Erwerbsausfallentschädigung. Für besonders betroffene Personen (Eltern wegen der Schulschliessung und Selbstständigerwerbende wegen der Schliessung ihrer Betriebe und den Veranstaltungsverboten) sind Entschädigungen vorgesehen. Die Bestimmungen werden auch im Kontext weiterer Massnahmen und des Arbeitsrechts analysiert.
