Spanish Abstract: Recogemos las experiencias personales de relación con el lenguaje, el habla y la palabra según las vive y expresa el locuaz y elocuente escritor español Fernando Sánchez Dragó. En su charla "Y el mono se irguió y hablo" reflexiona sobre la capacidad del humana del lenguaje tal como la vive personalmente un escritor hasta volverse un profesional y artista del lenguaje.

English Abstract: An account of personal experiences relating to language, talk and the word as they are lived and expressed by the talkative and articulate Spanish writer Fernando Sánchez Dragó. In his talk "And the Ape Stood Up and Spoke" he reflects on the human language capacity as it is lived first-hand by a writer until he becomes a professional and an artist of language.
