Abstract

This article discusses about some of the business industries that potentially attract foreign investors to transfer their intellectual property to Afghanistan. Though many foreign investors may have a massive fear about instability and poor rule of law in Afghanistan, the country can still offer unparalleled opportunities to induce foreign investors to risk their intellectual property in Afghanistan. Some of the industries that can be vividly attracting to foreign investors include mineral and hydrocarbon, food, agriculture and farming, and manufacturing. Because Taliban’s takeover has negatively impacted every aspect of life and livelihood in Afghanistan including economy, only a legitimate government that is elected through a free and fair election can properly work with foreign investors to bring their intellectual property to Afghanistan.
