Abstract

In this thought-provoking paper, the author examines the concept of paradigm and its connection with the subconscious mind. Both are concepts which are highly confused.

Paradigms are a set of assumptions, concepts, values, practices, and rules that shape the way individuals or communities perceive reality. Paradigms are deeply ingrained in our subconscious minds, affecting our day-to-day decision-making. The author demonstrates that they can be absolutely irrational. Many of these subconscious paradigms are formed during our early years when our ability to think clearly is limited. As a result, we may find ourselves making decisions based on flawed reasoning without even realizing it.

The article argues that our actions and decisions are frequently influenced by subconscious precepts that we are not even aware of. Because of the irrationality and subconscious nature of the paradigms, most of our actions are unconscious and uncontrolled. Hence, the author suggests that we should avoid making hasty and adverse judgments about the people we encounter, as they may not be acting out of choice but are driven by subconscious paradigms.
