Abstract

For many law students, reading a law school grade looks something like this: You take a deep breath, pull out your cell phone, and log into whatever website your law school uses. From there, it takes you a few seconds to skim that handful of letters. “Oh,” you say, “so that’s that.” I think it’s fairly common to feel deflated afterwards, even if you hit your goals. You worked really hard at a new kind of school, and no matter what those letters are, they don’t give you the feedback you need to improve as a student and as a professional.  It's a snapshot -- and not always the most flattering one.  Instead, try this approach.
