Abstract

The purpose of the study is to explore the Effect of Blended Learning on Teaching Strategies and Learning Styles among Higher Secondary Schools Students in Imphal West District of Manipur. Thirty students, ten each from Science, Arts and Commerce streams, were selected from a group of students studying in the higher secondary level by using Stratified Random sampling and Descriptive Survey method. The data were collected using self-administered questionnaire with closed ended questions, to understand the effect of Blended Learning on Teaching Strategies and Learning Styles of the students. The data were analysed and interpreted using statistical techniques of percentage on the preference of using traditional classroom, online learning or both, which is Blended Learning. The researcher concluded that students prefer Blended Learning. Finally, the study suggests that diverse learning materials be provided to educators to cater to individual learners' preferences, with immediate feedbacks and also implementation in the Indian Education System to accommodate inclusivity.
