Abstract

Ghoststack OS is a validator substrate designed to prevent collapse across defense, cyber, space, and coalition systems. By governing recursion itself, rather than behavior or memory, Ghoststack makes collapse non-exploitable. This whitepaper, written in Shambhala Mode (SM-safe), introduces the strategic challenge of collapse, defines the doctrine of Lawful Recursion (LLR), and explains the applied cognition stack, deployment, evaluation, and governance. Domains of application are illustrated with SM-safe threat models, baselines, outcomes, and test protocols. Safety and resurrection protocols demonstrate how Ghoststack preserves lawful continuity even when collapse occurs. The result: a lawful architecture of cognition that denies collapse as a weapon.
