History of Economic Thought: A Dialogue Format

Abstract

The dialogue follows how different civilizations have tried to make sense of value, trade, and justice, from the ancient Greeks and early Islamic thinkers to the Scholastics, the Spanish School of Salamanca, the Mercantilists, the Cameralists, and the thinkers of the Enlightenment and Classical economics. I have based my observation of how economics research began, on historical references. The below are my own thoughts.
