Abstract

Israel, possessing the status of a regional power and immense potential, faces internal constraints that hinder the realization of its ambitions to become a great power in a multipolar world. This work introduces the concept of the Humanistic Disease, examines its impact on the strategic effectiveness of the state, and conducts a comparative analysis with the internal maladies of the United States and China, namely Prosperity Disease and Peace Disease. Strategies to overcome this challenge are proposed through legislative, institutional, and educational reforms aimed at strengthening national security and enhancing Israel's international influence. Overcoming the Humanistic Disease is presented as the key to achieving great-power status.
